Our first steps tour and our frequently asked questions will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy (Wikimedia Commons only accepts free content). You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold when contributing and assume good faith when interacting with others. This is a wiki. More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump. |

POTD Interview
[edit]Hi Michael,
Thank you for the nice invitation. I would be glad to be interviewed (one more) for Wikimedia blog but I have already been in 30 May 2012! Maybe you would prefer to choose someone else? Best regards, Alvesgaspar (talk) 12:22, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
POTD interview (bis)
[edit]Hi Michael, sorry for the late answer—I was in holiday when you left me the message. I'd be glad to be interviewed for the Wikimedia blog, but like Alvesgaspar above, I was already interviewed not so long ago! Jastrow (Λέγετε) 18:07, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
POTD Interview
[edit]Hi!
Sorry for the late answer. I would love to do the interview. Mihael Grmek (talk) 13:56, 25 September 2013 (UTC)
Put discussions on talk pages, please.
[edit]Sorry to keep bugging you, but I noticed some of your recent requests for interviews were put on User pages, not User_talk pages, as they should be. I just wanted to alert you to this, and ask you to be more careful in the future. It does not reflect well on the WMF to have their official volunteers not know these sort of basic wiki-practices. I am glad that you are at least using your account now, rather than being merely an IP address. ;-) JesseW (talk) 05:38, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
