Dusun language(s)
[edit]Hello CorrelMoris38,
I saw your recording in Dusun language. I noticed Wikidata has two items : d:Q85970302 and d:Q5317225. Also :
- Could you or one member of your community check if these wikidata items should be merged ?
- If there are different languages, which one are you recording ?
Also, thank you for letting me discover this language. Yug (talk) 13:41, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- On Commons, there are also :
- On Wikipedias (according to wikidata's items d:Q85970302 and d:Q5317225):
- Most wikipedia only have one wikipedia article
ms:wiki
has both : ms:Bahasa_Kadazandusun vs ms:Bahasa_Dusunen:wiki
has a redirect :en:Kadazandusun language ↳ en:Dusun language
- cc Ardzun, maybe you are aware of this language ? Yug (talk) 14:17, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- I also did this change, is it correct ? Yug (talk) 14:12, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Better if I invite @Tofeiku who also focused about the languages in Malaysia, especially in Sabah. Ardzun (talk) 17:55, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
- Do not merge the two Wikidata items. In the past, dtp refers to Central Dusun making most Wikipedia articles use that title. Nowadays, ISO has changed the title of the dtp becoming Kadazandusun. Just imagine Serbo-Croatian language where there are Serbian language and Croatian language. Same goes for Kadazandusun language where there are actually Kadazan language and Dusun language.
