Hi Lucienbegule,
I am somewhat puzzled over your author and source entries for File:Maquette vitrail boissac.jpg. You wrote for Author=Tony Tollet et Lucien Bégule, but at the same time that the author died 70 years ago. As for source you wrote photo Thierry Wagner. So, who made the original window? Who shot the original photo? What was your task? --Túrelio (talk) 19:08, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
- Sorry to answer for him. Perhaps there is a problem with Tony Tollet... but:
- Lucien Bégule have drawn and built original windows.
- Thierry Wagner is fr:user:Lucienbegule; is is a relative of Lucien Bégule. He is the owner of the heritage of Lucien Bégule (drawns of windows...).
- Thierry Wagner is also the photographer of windows made by Lucien Bégule. --Manu (talk) 08:17, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
Nearly the same with File:Ainay redemption malaucene.jpg: who created the original window? the photo was made by Gérald Gambier? Why do you write Author=Lucien Bégule? --Túrelio (talk) 19:10, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
- About me there is no problem with this file : the autor of the windows is Lucien Bégule. Gérald Gambier is the photographer, without "creative work", only technical. But perhaps we can use this more apropriate template : PD-Art. Thank you for him. --Manu (talk) 08:17, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
You overwriting of that file was removed - do not overwrite files! The file was transfered to File:MortWindow.jpg, something we normaly not do because we dont have source, author and license information. Please add a license to your photo and correct the source data if you want. --Martin H. (talk) 17:47, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
Please do not overwrite files

Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.CategorizationBot (talk) 10:47, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
- Image:Chats wagner.JPG was uncategorized on 16 June 2010 CategorizationBot (talk) 10:47, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
