Yafran
[edit]I just assumed that it fell sometime around 15 may, I just thought an exact date looked nicer than "approx. 15 May".--Rafy (talk) 17:08, 3 June 2011 (UTC)
Battle of Aleppo (map)
[edit]Concerning the map, Shaar neighborhood should to be turn as a constant neighborhood by Pro-Assad And Anti-Assad Facebook pages . because it was informed that the Syrian Air Force Attacked the (Dar Al Shifaa Hospital) the hospital who the FSA Fighters Stationed there . more of that according to regim pages on facebook and twitter The Syrian Army Begins a campaign to get the neighborhood Back to Regime — Preceding unsigned comment added by Khalilhojeij (talk • contribs)
It seems Yallasouriya's and RozalinaChomsky's reports on besieged infantery academy do not match with military academy SW Aleppo City. Instead some reports seem to refer to Wikimapia's "Ground Force Faculty" near Bibinnis some 10km NE of Aleppo City. I remember a report on clashes in "Zahraa". What makes you sure that they referred to Wikimapia's "Az-Zahraa district" N of "New Aleppo district" instead of "Bustan az-Zahra" NW of Bustan al-Qasr ("Izaa") in your map ?

- To all: it's not "my" map. I haven't even the slightest clue how to use the programs to edit it. Please take any and all concerns up on the map's talkpage or at w:User talk:Futuretrillionaire. ~~ Lothar von Richthofen (talk) 18:41, 7 December 2012 (UTC)
Al-Qusayr
[edit]Hello,
I've seen that you edited the Al-Qusayr territory into brown again, but there are some sources:
http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2013/04/22/299612/syrian-army-advances-on-qusayr-town/
And BBC:

"So whatever Hezbollah is able to do in Quseir, Homs and the suburbs of Damascus is an increasingly vital part of the regime's military strategy.
Things on the ground are visibly changing.
Here, in some parts of Lebanon's north-eastern corner, both sides of the border are now, in effect, controlled by Hezbollah and its Syrian allies. They claim to be gaining advantage."
The entire city is under clashes as the gov. militias and Hezbollah tries to seize it again.
