Burlingame Redwood

[edit]

Hi,

I saw you picture from the Burlingame Redwood on the Dutch wikipedia. He is put on the wiki: mammoetboom, dutch for giant sequoia. Youre Burlingame Redwood looks like a giant sequoia (or giant redwood) and I was very surprised to see that you named it: Sequoia sempervirens, which is a coastal redwood. The Sequoia sempervirens is family of the giant redwood (Sequoiadendron giganteum) but looks different. Are you very sure that the Burlingame Redwood is a Sequoia sempervirens??? 80.126.111.217 19:59, 11 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
