Copyright status: File:R10 E Train at Kew Gardens Union Tpke.jpg
[edit]This media may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading File:R10 E Train at Kew Gardens Union Tpke.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |

[edit]Remember I told Epic Genius that I got my PM privilege permanently removed after a huge fight with ttcsubwayfan, Fresh Pond and Daniel The Cool. Anyway, I just want that annoying P3F kid off my back. He's very hypocritical y'know. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 20:10, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
I remember one time he talked about how I always abuse the upvote/downvote system but yet look at him. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 20:14, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
I can't believe you're actually on his side and upvoting that swine's posts after all that he's done? JoesphBarbaro (talk) 20:33, 15 April 2016 (UTC)
I think that he just disareed with the posts. That however is misuse of the system. I am not on his side. I agree with you. I won't just give negative rep points in retaliation. I actually gave him a few additional negative rep points.--2604:2000:B085:BF00:8596:12AB:F748:E9F4 10:58, 17 April 2016 (UTC)
Continue to watch out for that dude though. He always tends on being slick and sneaky. I actually lashed out on him numerous times via the PMs for that very reason, until Harry permanently removed my PM privilege back in December last year. Ask P3F in the PMs and he'll tell you. It's fine if you don't want to though, since the dust seems to have finally settled down. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 11:15, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
I'm no longer going to post on that BS site anymore. I just recently had a huge fight with that woman named CenSin because of her never-ending conditionally obsession over the Culver Express and she tried to rub it in my face, as well as back-talking me over the PMs with the staff; then, that stupid ass Turtle nigga and his staff comrades revoked my ability to post in the status updates and also suspended me for one month all thanks to that bitch CenSin snitching me out. Feel free to contact me on YouTube or on Wikia. I'm always in a good mood at those two sites and never got into any conflict with anyone. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 19:16, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
I am sorry that all of this has happened over there. If you need another place to talk transit there is subchat. It is generally civilized, but every so often there are flame wars with Terrapin Station so if you go there be careful with that. There are more mature and old timers there that know more than the people on NYCTF. I hope that you will be able to return there at some point. By the way I have a flickr account that I use to compile pictures of transit maps, schedules, timetables, and guides and also my pictures of the subway. I think that you would find it of interest. If you want, I can help to try to get your account back on wikipedia. I hope you are doing well. The Transit Museum is going to have something for their 40th anniversary if you didn't know. --Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 19:45, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
After what happen at NYCTF, I don't think I'm already to come back on Wikipedia just yet. Perhaps I'll wait for a while longer. In the meantime, I think I could consider joining SubChat. And sure, you can show me your flickr account if you want. I might also create an account at flickr as well. Also, I have a Facebook account and I also hardly ever got into problems with anyone there as well. I think you should create a Facebook account since we've been close friends on NYCTF and Wikipedia ever since we met, and I can sure met you in person since you're always a cool, caring guy. And yeah, I heard about the 40th anniversary of the Transit Museum. I don't think I want to attend since I'm hardly even interested in the museum. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 19:54, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
Here it is, [1]. Why aren't you interested in the Transit Museum?--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 20:13, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
I don't know to be honest. I do like the old school trains in the museum, though. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 21:38, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
Anyway, I'll see you, MysteriousBtrain, Around the Horn, and Epic Genius around. I sure as hell hope Harry, Turtle, CenSin, and almost everyone else on the forums have a miserable life, especially Harry, since he never permanently revoked anything from VG8 and is apparently his #1 bitch. I also sure as hell hope the forums lose even more members and will soon become a dead site as years pass. I think I might confront Harry and Turtle in person while I'm at it. Those pitiful hypocrites haven't seen the last of me. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 12:09, 30 May 2016 (UTC)
Good morning, Kew Gardens/Union Tpke. I just came back to check on something. From what I noticed, it seems like they permanently banned me from the forums. Are you still able to access my profile or no? Because if it says something like "Error. Sorry, this page is no longer available or may have been moved elsewhere", it most likely means I'm "banned" (instead of "suspended"). Oh well. Either way, it's not like I give a shit. At least I have you, Epic Genius, and ShadeJay (formerly MysteriousBtrain) to talk to. Anyway, hopefully my life will get better as soon as I get my high school diploma and get a good job. I'm starting to get bored of trade school anwyays. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 12:57, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
I can still access the profile. http://www.nyctransitforums.com/forums/user/11249-rollover/ If you want me to talk to them I can. Were you permanently banned on wikipedia? I wish you were around to help edit. I, Tdorante10, and EpicGenius, have made a few subway articles good articles, and it would be great if you were able to continue working on the project. Have you seen anything interesting on the subway lately? I would have gone to the event on the Brighton Line, but sadly, I couldn't go. Were you able to go? I hope things turn toward the better. --Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 13:52, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
Sorry for replying late. I totally forgot about you since I had other stuff to do. Yes, Swarm permanently blocked me on Wikipedia after I outbursted at the admin staff there. But he did say I can email him at any time. I will do that sometime over the summer or in the fall. No, I haven't been able to go to that that BMT Brighton Line event due to my dumb parents. As for NYCTF, many of the members pretty much hate me now anyway. I don't really care about them, especially Turtle, Harry, and CenSin. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 12:44, 6 July 2016 (UTC)
Good evening
[edit]Good evening @Epicgenius: and @Kew Gardens 613: . It's been a long while since I last spoke to you guys. How's everything going so far? Personally, I've been busy with trade school and a part-time job to the point that I was unable to respond back for long periods of time. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 22:18, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
@JoesphBarbaro: It's been good, thanks for asking. After the W train was restored, a lot of people began editing Broadway Line-related articles; apparently, they are very excited about the W train. Anyway, it would be good to have you back on Wikipedia. Have you emailed an admin for an unblock yet? epicgenius (talk) 23:24, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
@Epicgenius: Not yet. But I will either late this month or sometime next month and I will apologize to the admin staff and work things out. Depends if I work around my schedule so that I can have some free time to edit Wikipedia. JoesphBarbaro (talk) 23:55, 7 November 2016 (UTC)
@JoesphBarbaro: That's good to hear. We need more people editing NYC Subway and Bus articles. So far there are only about 5 or 6 active experienced editors in the project. A lot of IP users and new accounts are making edits in good faith, but their edits are actually messing up the articles. epicgenius (talk) 01:03, 8 November 2016 (UTC) I don't know if you know this, but I am still using my NYCTF account mostly to lurk for new and interesting stuff. I don't post often, though. epicgenius (talk) 01:06, 8 November 2016 (UTC)
@JoesphBarbaro: Things have been going well for me. After school today, I went out to the Broadway Line to take pictures of the W. That was enjoyable. I hope that you are doing well. I wish you the best of luck getting back to wikipedia. I have to agree with epic genius about the IP users. Have a good evening.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 01:12, 8 November 2016 (UTC)

Reminder: Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2016 is open!
[edit]You are receiving this message because you voted in R1 of the 2016 Picture of the Year contest.
Dear Kew Gardens 613,
Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2016 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eleventh edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2016) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top #1 and #2 from each sub-category.
In the final round, you may vote for just one or maximal three image to become the Picture of the Year.
Round 2 will end on 20 April 2017, 23:59:59 UTC.
Thanks,

Sorry, it's been a while...
[edit]Good morning, @Kew Gardens 613: aka Union Tpke and @Epicgenius: , happy summer and hope you guys are enjoying it. I know I said I was going to return to Wikipedia with a few things (such as an apology towards all the people I've hurt prior to being permanently blocked). However, I've been struggling with keeping up with my busy schedule, with trade school for two more years as well as taking GED classes to achieve the exam and diploma. Sorry for going against my word. Life has gotten much harder for me nowadays but I'll eventually reach my goals before moving on to a better-paying job or a good career. Just came to see how you guys are doing. Cheers. Also, what's been going on at Wiki Public Transportation of Wikipedia lately? Any news? JoesphBarbaro (talk) 11:18, 6 August 2017 (UTC)
- I hope that life gets easier for you. Thanks for checking in. Many more articles are good articles, such as Bergen Street, IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line, Broad Channel, etc. Epicgenius has created subway service templates, and we have added station codes to the infoboxes. Articles and templates have had to be changed with the Myrtle Avenue shutdown and the Clark Street Tunnel shutdown. I hope you can come back soon.
