File tagging File:The Resurrection.jpg
[edit]This media may be deleted.
|
Thanks for uploading File:The Resurrection.jpg. This media is missing permission information. A source is given, but there is no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. Please provide a link to an appropriate webpage with license information, or ask the author or copyright holder to send an email with copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org). You may still be required to go through this procedure even if you are the author yourself; please see Commons:But it's my own work! for more details. After you emailed permission, you may replace the {{No permission since}} tag with {{subst:PP}} on file description page. Alternatively, you may click on "Challenge speedy deletion" below the tag if you wish to provide an argument why evidence of permission is not necessary in this case.
Please see this page for more information on how to confirm permission, or if you would like to understand why we ask for permission when uploading work that is not your own, or work which has been previously published (regardless of whether it is your own). Warning: unless the permission information is given, the file may be deleted after seven days. Thank you. |

WWII period music score
[edit]Commons:OTRS/Noticeboard#WWII_period_music_score requires further opinion from you. Jee 13:59, 8 February 2015 (UTC)
- Replied there. Thanks for the notice. Karl Hammer (talk) 16:26, 8 February 2015 (UTC)

Hello Michael, Like I said (wrote) elsewhere; I truly don't care if it is deleted or not from wiki. If the professional international copyright lawyers at my various publishers - as well as international Media agencies like Reuters, ABC, NBC, Yahoo etc. - think it is fit or publication, but some moderator(s) here think these professionals are all wrong, so be it. Here ends the discussion for me. Karl Hammer (talk) 08:11, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
Copyright on images
[edit]Hello Karl Hammer, because the files you've uploaded still show your copyright signs I've marked some of them for speedy deletion. In case you want them to stay online I urge you to upload a new version without the copyright marks on them. Or you can give permission via OTRS as you've done before. Dqfn13 (talk) 14:25, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
- COM:Watermark is not a reason for speedy. Jee 14:44, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
- The information on the image's pages states clearly "I, the copyright holder of this work, hereby publish it under the following license:.... etc.". If that's not enough feel free to delete. It was a courtesy and I have no problem if my material is not on Wiki. Best regards Karl Hammer (talk) 18:54, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
- @Jee, the watermarks claim author- and ownership.
- @Karl Hammer, I can't see that you are the owner of the images and that you have given them to the public domaine and therefor no longer claim ownership. The watermark clearly state that the author still claims ownership. Dqfn13 (talk) 19:19, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
- OK, I understand the confusion. I have replaced them with a version that has no copyright notice. Don't know if I did it correctly (I'm not really a wizz in wiki and actually don't know how to use the 'OTRS ticket' that you provied me with. Hope this suffices. If not, please feel free to delete all. Karl Hammer (talk) 17:28, 10 April 2015 (UTC)
- See Commons:Village_pump/Copyright/Archive/2015/03#CC-BY-2.0_with_copyright_mark.3F. There is nothing wrong in using a © along with a free license. (I'm in a wiki break; so no further comments from me now. Just making a brief note as I handled the OTRS ticket. There is no need of any further OTRS mails as the author's account is well verified. Just wait patiently; an experienced admin will close all DRs properly.) Jee 03:36, 11 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks. I just noticed that Dqfn13 - who started the deletion process - has replaced my art work which I uploaded on specific request, with a rather horrible picture of a naked man with some paint smears. This is not professional bodypaint. I don't mind if you remove my work, but please substitute it with professional material and do not discredit the topic as such with these banalities. It's unworthy of an encyclopedical entry (I'm sorry, but I'm upset). Karl Hammer (talk) 07:58, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

Hi Karl, per your statement on Hannolans' talkpage, I've rev-deleted the high-res version (without watermark) of your image. --Túrelio (talk) 13:45, 8 May 2015 (UTC)
