Rename
I had just gotten used to seeing JSS at the village pump, but I always liked Beeblebrox better. Always good to see your name in my watchlist. All the Best -- Chuck Talk 00:08, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks. I was experiencing some "buyer's remorse" with the rename. It was one of those "it seemed like a good idea at the time" type of things. Beeblebrox (talk) 00:14, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
- Makes sense considering the circumstances at the time of your rename.
- On a slightly unrelated note, I wanted to get your thoughts of if the concerns from your userpage essay are still valid, or if the situation has gotten better?

- I haven't run into it recently but most of the discussions I've been involved in lately were mundane deletion discussions. Beeblebrox (talk) 01:37, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
File:Byersinfosign.jpeg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Something that may be of interest to you
I don't use my Commons talk page to discuss en.wp business. Pretty sure you've already gotten in some trouble for dragging problems from one wiki to another. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:20, 27 January 2025 (UTC)

I think you might wish to read this discussion between me and Blue-Sonnet. Honestly, if I had known I was wasting other editors' time and/or stopping them from being able to get on with other things, I would not have hassled them half to death. For future reference, I recommend that some of them ought to say stuff like, "Stop wasting my time [user]! You're interrupting my additions of [navigational template] to [set of categories]!" or, possibly, recommend an editor like Blue-Sonnet. (You see, I tend to assume that an editor's replying to me takes 'em not that much longer than it took me to type the initial question or post.) Shāntián Tàiláng (talk) 19:46, 27 January 2025 (UTC)

Little question
WP:HARASSMENT seems apt in your case, as you've done this multiple times before and persist in doing so, including "nuisance thanking" me for my posts trying to get you to go away. Beeblebrox (talk) 22:05, 27 January 2025 (UTC)

Forget about any en.wp business. Right now, I just want to know, what IS the WMF user conduct word for "dragging problems from one wiki into another"?? (You know, like WP:EDITWAR or WP:NOTSOCIALNETWORK.) Shāntián Tàiláng (talk) 20:58, 27 January 2025 (UTC) |
