Flickr reviews
Hello Jeff G.,
it is not recommend to review uploaded images by you yourself. I noticed that here. Please do not review images that you uploaded yourself. Thank you ← Körnerbrötchen <✉> 21:08, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
- Where is that recommendation (or not recommendation) documented? I can't find it in Commons:Licensing, {{Flickrreview}} and Commons:Flickr images. In the discussion I saw at Commons talk:Flickr images/reviewers/discussion archive 1#Approving_your_own_images, one admin was for self-review[1] and one was against[2], and non-admins were two for and one against. My recollection of past grants of reviewer status from candidates that wanted to review their own uploads was that no one objected (that I saw). I'd welcome further discussion of this matter, but it seems an acceptable and accepted modus operandi. — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 05:07, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
- Hey Jeff, sorry for that long time since my answer, but my time in the last weeks was very limited and now here nere Cologne is Carnival ;-). But you're right. There is no documentation but I did it just like you sometime and someone (please don't ask who ;-) said I should'nt. I think we should discuss it. But not here... ← Körnerbrötchen <✉> 21:19, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
Image deletion warning | Category:Pages that use Template:iL has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. |
