Timor languages

Please, revert what you did it with the categories of your maps of the East Timor languages. This kind of maps dont belong to the standars of the category. This category is not for talking about the percentage of speakers by municipalities of a single small country. Is about languages in the geographical contest are in. This maps are clearly outside this category, put them all in a category and put that category in one category inside the languages by country or such as. -- Fobos | ¿algo que decirme? 11:34, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

Sorry, I can not find any informations in the name of the category, which says it is only for maps without percentage informations. The name is "Linguistic maps of single language". That's the case in this Timorese maps. --JPF (talk) 11:38, 25 September 2016 (UTC)

First: The answers for an user goes into the discussion page of that user, not in your own page, or this users will not have the notification.

Second: I recomend you to review the category in cuestion, an Administrator changed the name for including only bicromatic maps, not subregional languages by municipality and percentage.

Third: Your maps in this Category:Linguistic maps of speakers by country are also wrong, this is a category for puting only one color for a country, indicating the absoluting number of a language speaking in diferent countries of the world, just see the rest of the pics and the description of the category, is not so hard to understand. 1. Every community is working different. I am using here the German Wikipedia way. I have a notice on the top of this page. If you don't read it, I can not help you.
2. Why let you change ´the category? Wouldn't it be easier to create a new one with the name you prefer? Well, the new category not match to the Timorese files. you can take them off the category, if you want. I do not see a reason for this cartegory, but I don't care.
3. Well, I will not understand, why do you creating private categories, but as I said: I don't care. So if you want to keep your categories private, take the maps outside. I have more important things to do.

Category:Linguistic bicromatic maps of single language

Plesae, please please. Stop putting once and again the Timor languages in this category. As you can see, the name aready change it. The category is not for indicate the percentage of spekaers of one languageǃ As I told you many times. Pleaseǃ pleaseǃǃǃǃ Stop now. I will fix it again. I wish you will not destroid my work again. I repet you, the name of the category was trasladated months ago to another name not so ambiguous. So now the Timor maps has nothing to do there. Even more, this maps dont count the speaers of this languages outside East Timor, so they aren't acuarate in this category. Please, stopǃ -- Fobos | ¿algo que decirme? 11:00, 4 February 2017 (UTC)

Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

• To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
• To perform file name swaps.
• When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning.
