Barre des Écrins / Pelvoux
Guten Tag, helo. Thank you for your message.
I have added Category:Pelvoux to some images belonging to Category:Barre des Écrins because this pictures have been photographed from Pelvoux commune. Here, I consider Peloux as the name of the Pelvoux commune in the Hautes-Alpes( in France, a commune is the smallest administrative divison). Picture Image:Ecrins Face sud de la Barre des Ecrins.png has been photographed from Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans commune. So I have not added Category:Pelvoux here.
If I add Category:Barre des Écrins to Category:Pelvoux that means Category:Barre des Écrins is included in Category:Pelvoux; and this is not true. To sum up, for me Category:Barre des Écrins belongs either Category:Pelvoux or Category:Saint-Christophe-en-Oisans.

- Hello. Yes Category:Massif des Écrins should be the category for the mountain group. But a picture who is in Category:Pelvoux could also be declared in Category:Massif des Écrins. Moreover, Pelvoux, is sometime used in France to refer to the center of Massif des Ecrins and Category:Massif du Peloux (not available now) would not be a mistake to my opinion.
