RFA images
[edit]- Hello there, GuyWithATelescope!
- You recently initiated the deletion of the file "RFA 8 Second Hot Fire Test.png" - rightfully so.
- There is however the possibility to upload files that do not fall in the Creative Commons category, correct? Unfortunately, I do not have access to that. Would it be possible for you to upload the file in my place within the appropriate category? Wikihero1977 (talk) 14:09, 21 December 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Wikihero1977,
- Wikimedia Commons only allows images under free licenses such as Creative Commons or public domain. Unfortunately that means that the images you uploaded are not allowed on Wikimedia Commons at all, as they are copyrighted by RFA. (See this simple graphic as an overview what can be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons)
- You are in luck however, I have just noticed a YouTuber has licensed his videos of an RFA factory tour as Creative Commons. So I was able to upload two images that you can use in your articles about RFA: File:RFA1_second_stage.jpg and File:RFA_One_main_engine.jpg. If you want any other images from this video, I can upload them for you.
- Good work on the text of the RFA articles by the way, German space companies have been pretty underrepresented here compared to American launch providers.

- Hey, thank you for the praise and especially thank you for uploading the photos and making me aware of that YouTube channel. That helps a lot! Wikihero1977 (talk) 08:19, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
