Single-purpose account
[edit]Thank you for your message about the maps. Judging by the recency and scope of your edits, as well as your familiarity with specific Wikimedia regulations, I suspect that you are not a new user. In fact, you are acting like a Single-purpose account/sockpuppet established by someone who has been active on this site in the past. If that is the case, I must warn you that involving administrators may not be in your best interest as you may yourself end up being blocked as a sockpuppet. I ask that you reconsider your language of threats and stop your disruptive edits using single-purpose accounts.--Satt 2 (talk) 22:35, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
- I'm not threatening you. I've been looking at Commons regulations for a long time without having an account. I'm not a professional file creator so I never had a need. Now that I see someone like you ruining so many maps, I actually have a reason to have an account. If you think that me directing you to commons policies is threatening you then you have a very wrong take on editing here. --Fixingup (talk) 22:40, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
- Funny to read these comments from Satt_2, a user from en wiki indef-blocked/banned for disruptive editing. I see many map overwrites with either no upload comment or wrong/false ones. Looks like you try to harm the community in retaliation for your ban.--Denniss (talk) 00:20, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Denniss: I have no reason to harm the community. Yes, I have had bans, but that makes me all the more qualified to give Fixingup the kind of advice that I gave based on my personal experience.
- That being said, I changed the colors/borders on the maps because what they depicted was not in line with the title. Iraq/Morocco/Tunisia etc, are irrelevant on maps pertaining to Europe. I've noted that where appropriate. --Satt 2 (talk) 03:40, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
- Very often maps of Europe colour in surrounding countries. It shows more information. In a few maps you also tried to delete regions that are in Europe which absolutely ruins the maps. --Growupon (talk) 04:26, 17 February 2017 (UTC)
