Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Hallo EtschPat, deine Uploads aus dem Stadtarchiv St. Gallen sind sehr schön. Aber auf welcher Grundlage stellst du diese Fremdfotos unter eine CC-Lizenz? --Túrelio (talk) 10:09, 13 June 2017 (UTC)

Hallo Túlerio Die Lizenz gebe ich unter Grundlage meiner Korrespondenz mit dem Stadtarchiv St. Gallen. Hier der Mail-Thread:

Sehr Herr Etschmayer

Nein, dies wäre schade, wenn die Bilder nicht genutzt werden können. Daher fällt das Kommerzialisierungsverbot, das ja sowieso nicht restlos geklärt werden kann, weg. Dementsprechend würde folgende Lizenz gültig sein: CC BY-SA 4.0 gelten (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/).

Das Bildmaterial kommt, jedoch erst kommenden Donnerstag.

Gemeindewappen sind generell gemeinfrei, aber ich habe keine Möglichkeit entdeckt, diese entsprechend zu markieren. Gibt es eine Lösung?
