You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

Please use SVG Thank you for uploading some images! Did you know that Wikimedia Commons recommends the SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) format for certain types of images? Scalable Vector Graphics are designed to look appropriate at any scale, and SVG images are easier to modify and translate, helping Wikimedia to distribute knowledge to all of the world. A lot of modern programs support SVG export. If you encountered problems or have questions, don't hesitate to ask me, a member of the Graphic Lab, or the Graphics village pump. Uploading images in SVG format isn't mandatory, but it would help. (To avoid any misunderstandings, please don't just put raster images into an SVG container as embedded raster.) Complaints about Tabarnia map

Sonrisas1 complaints in [1] that L'Arboc, Banyeres del Penedes, Cubelles, Cunit, Bellvei etc. among others are wrongly blue-painted instead of red. Please check and correct if necessary --Panotxa (talk) 18:56, 27 December 2017 (UTC)

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2018 is open!

Dear YggdrasilAsir,

You are receiving this message because we noticed that you voted in R1 of the 2018 Picture of the Year contest, but not yet in the second round. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2018) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked.

In the final (and current) round, you may vote for a maximum of three images. The image with the most votes will become the Picture of the Year 2018.

Eleccions al parlament de Catalunya de 2021

Hola Darth Vader 92! Arran de la convocatòria electoral pel proper mes de maig de 2024, he estat fent un repàs als articles d'eleccions al parlament de Catalunya, i m'he adonat que per l'article de 2021 la infografia que utilitzem com a imatge de la infotaula és bastant dolenta. Vist que tu vas fer les de les eleccions anteriors (de 2017 i 2015), i que està molt i molt bé (per comarques, amb els resultats simplificats per per províncies, ...) podries fer-ne una amb el mateix format per les eleccions de 2021 per millorar sensiblement l'article?

Tant si acceptes "l'encàrrec" com si no, moltes gràcies per la feina. Atentament,

Fa temps que tinc pendent fer un script per homogeneïtzar totes les infografies i que permeti enllestir en pocs segons les de les futures eleccions, però mai trobo temps i no crec que tingui llest per a les eleccions de maig (de totes maneres ho provaré). Tot i això, puc fer-ho a mà, com ho vaig fer per 2017 i 2014, tot i que no puc assegurar tenir-ho per la nit d'eleccions o el dia següent, ho intentaré!--Darth vader 92 (talk) 19:21, 1 April 2024 (UTC)

Ostres, quina bona pinta això del script, encara que vagi per més temps. En tot cas, aclarir que la infografia que et demanava és la del 2021, que no en tenim cap. Sobre les que venen de 2024, si no pots fer res el mateix dia o l'endemà no passa res, podem estar amb una altra pitjor durant un temps fins a tenir una millor per 2024. --Mcsmp (talk) 22:25, 1 April 2024 (UTC)

Entre la llista d'avisos que tinc, he rebut un suggeriment per inserir una imatge que està carregada en Commons per tu. El títol de la imatge és "Contacte-metamòrfic-filonià-plutònic". La imatge se'm suggereix per un article anomenat "Roca filoniana". Amb el meus limitats coneixements de roques he interpretat que a la fotografia, la part superior és una roca metamòrfica semblant a la fil·lita. L'estrat central sembla roca calcària. Davall l'estrat de roca homogènia "blanca" hi ha uns estrats de substrats compactats sense cimentar, de vàries granulacions, que al meu parer no han entrat en procés de metamorfosi. És a dir, no identifico bé els tres tipus de roca. Si em pots ajudar... Gràcies! --Castell (talk) 22:50, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
