releasing photos
[edit]Hi, sorry about the license confusion.
you can also make use of your flickr account https://www.flickr.com/photos/46576138@N08 - it has the license flexibility you want. the Smithsonian institution has selected historic images to change the license to "no known copyright" i.e. File:Claudine Brown.jpg https://www.flickr.com/photos/smithsonian , which would make them suitable for commons also. -- Slowking4 § Sander.v.Ginkel's revenge 12:15, 9 August 2018 (UTC)
- the fear of "what about the t-shirt?" is often asked, but rarely seen. and it was a problem before the internet Butler's Mug in a Chamber Pot? on balance, institutions like the Smithsonian find that the increased traffic, visibility, and goodwill outweigh the risk of content misuse. much scholarhsip here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/GLAM -- Slowking4 § Sander.v.Ginkel's revenge 01:55, 12 August 2018 (UTC)
