Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (webchat). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at the copyright village pump.

Goodies, tips, and tricks

Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.
There are several tools to upload files.
Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful.

Made a mistake?

Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it.

Licences

Bonjour Clemspas12,

Merci d'avoir participé à Wikimedia Commons en important des photos. Toutefois, veuillez noter qu'il est impératif que les photos importées doivent respecter les licences que les auteurs ont choisies. Or, sur nombre de fichiers que vous avez importés, ce n'est pas le cas : le site internet d'où vient l'image ne précise pas la licence. Par défaut, les images dont la licence n'est pas précisée sont considérées commme étant sous une licence non-libre (c'est-à-dire incompatible avec Commons). Merci donc de consulter cette page rappelant les différentes règles et de ne plus importer de photo ne respectant ces règles, car il s'agirait sinon d'une violation de droit d'auteur. Bonjour Clemspas12,

Vous avez importé plusieurs photographies dont l'origine me semble douteuse. Il s'agit des 3 photos ci-contre. Une simple recherche internet montre que ce n'est pas vous qui avez pris les photos. Et aucune indication ne montre que leurs auteurs les ont mises sous une licence acceptée sur Wikimedia Commons.

Je vous rappelle que seules les photos que leur auteur a placé sous une des licences indiquées sur la page Aide:Licences des fichiers importés peuvent être importées sur Wikimedia Commons. Celui qui a pris la photo doit l'avoir placée sous une licence comme la CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, GFDL... La photo doit être importée sur Commons sous la même licence. Pour résumer (cliquer dessus pour agrandir) :

Donc, pour les photos ci-contre, merci d'indiquer la source montrant qu'elles sont sous une licence appropriée (si jamais c'était le cas), faute de quoi elles seront supprimées.
