Tagging in redirect pages

Recently, the bot tagged File:Serbia EU.svg as {{Uncategorized}} but this is a redirect page and not an image page. See the diff. Is this a bug? --Sreejith K (talk) 03:05, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

Need help to upload LOgo of university

I m gald to write mail to you.I m sorry for you if disturb. By the way.i dont know why LongYan university is appear Organization not University.it different kind of on Facebook. so i added my university on facebook ,finnaly it display organization.so it it reason of edit wrong catolog on wikimedia.

You should read Commons:Licensing and check with the copyright holder of the logo if the logo fulfills the Commons:Project scope#Required licensing terms - e.g. that the copyright holder agreed to commercial reuse - and if you can have the copyright holders permission to this terms in written so that you can demonstrate that the logo is free as we require on this project. --Martin H. This bot does not invent categories. Also this bot is not an intelligent machine. It only checks in what articles a media file is used and what interwikilinks are placed to Commons in that articles and in the articles categories. --Martin H. (talk) 00:58, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Additions to subcategories of Births by year/Deaths by year

If an image is used in an en_wp article categorized in one of the birth year/death year categories there or en:Category:Living people, it might be worth creating a new subcategory in Category:People by name with its title and add there the categories that could be generated from that article. The images would added to the newly created category instead of the ones generated from the article.

A similar rule could be developed from other languages.

This would avoid marginally useful images in Category:2010 deaths#mw-category-media and other subcategories of Births by year/Deaths by year. --  Docu  at 08:38, 13 February 2011 (UTC)
