ESRB Ratings
[edit]The ESRB Rating System Is My Favorite System In The World (Except Mexico, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, & Greenland.) That I Use It A Lot. When I Find Games In Previews That Say May contain contennt inappropiate for children, It Means The Game Is Not For Kids Under 13, 17 or 18, Equivalent To Teen, Mature and Adults Only Ratings, and may contain language (e.g. sh*t, f*ck, *ss, & b*tch.) .

Your ESRB logos
[edit]Thank you for uploading the ESRB rating logos.
It would be much better if they were real SVG and not just raster graphics embedded in an SVG frame;
it seems that you do not yet know how to make real SVG?
Anyway, please do never tag files with {{Created with Inkscape}}, or {{Valid SVG}}!
This is completely outdated, and when you do so others will have to repair it.
Nowadays you should tag files with {{ Created with Inkscape | errors = xxx | topic = topic }} (at least these two parameters).
It is easier to let it generate with Image generation by using the script — but it needs a bit of experience; see examples ESRB 2013 Early Childhood.svg or ESRB 2013 Adults Only.svg.
If you are now interested in doing it better, me or others can help you. Regards -- sarang♥사랑 10:59, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
Well, we could use the alternatively framed EC symbols and the rest from the english Nintendo 2DS Manual instead. The alternatively framed AO symbol is mostly out there as a raster, even on some parts of Nintendo.com, despite the fact that they don't license AO games, but have the symbols because of some stuff with the ESRB. Heck, they even have combination stills of RP-EC, RP-E, RP-E10+, RP-T, RP-M, RP-AO, EC-E, EC-E10+, EC-T, EC-M, EC-AO, E-E10+, E-T, E-M, E-AO, E10+-T, E10+-M, E10+-AO, T-M, T-AO and M-AO for some reason, 'specially the EC and AO combinations. Just something to point out. Cars4me (talk) 11:53, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

Round 1 of Picture of the Year 2023 voting is open!
[edit]Dear Wikimedian,
Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2023 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighteenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2023) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and top 5% of most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.
Round 1 will end on UTC.
Thanks,
the Wikimedia Commons Picture of the Year committee
