Category:Islamic manuscripts

Hi, I noticed that you have depopulated the Category:Islamic manuscripts and redirected it to Category:Islamic paintings. I think this is a bad idea. Category:Islamic manuscripts is a sub-category of Category:Manuscripts by style, which is a sub-category of Category:Illuminated manuscripts. By redirecting Category:Islamic manuscripts to Category:Islamic paintings, you have made the latter a virtual sub-category of Category:Manuscripts by style. I think that only images that one should find as one descends down through the categories under Category:Illuminated manuscripts should be of illuminated manuscripts. However, Category:Islamic paintings contains images of paintings that are not of illuminated manuscripts. Dsmdgold 20:10, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

J'ai déjà fait le tour des conflits de modifs sur l'article fr:Dieu de l'Artémision ; maintenant, je n'attends plus que tu finisses fr:Bronzes de Riace :)

Concernant la catégorie, c'est normal : il est impossible de renommer une catégorie : il faut en créer une nouvelle et faire les modifs une à une à la main. c'est réglé. Bibi Saint-Pol (sprechen) 23:21, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Bonjour ! Le modèle {{Technique}} a pas mal de limitations dues au fait qu'il est traduit dans tout un tas de langues, certaines avec déclinaisons, adjectif avant le nom, etc. Du coup, en l'état, on ne peut pas utiliser plusieurs adjectifs pour le même nom. Il faut ruser. Par exemple, pour « verre soufflé, émaillé et doré », j'utilise {{technique|glass|adj=blown}}, {{technique|decoration|adj=enameled|and=decoration|adjand=gilded}}.

Pour {{Period}}, que j'ai découvert il y a peu, j'avoue que je sèche. C'est User:Zolo le grand manitou des modèles internationaux dans le domaine des musées.

Pour {{Other date}} le problème est différent : le logiciel limite le nombre d'imbrications de modèles. On espère que le passage prochain à un autre langage de programmation pour MediaWiki permettra de résoudre le problème. En l'état on ne peut pas afficher « milieu du XIIIe siècle ». Là encore il faut ruser, par exemple {{Other date|ca|1250}}, ou {{Other date|ca|1250|1300}} pour « deuxième moitié du XIIIe siècle ». Jastrow (Λέγετε) 07:56, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
