Autopatrol given
[edit]Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. --Hedwig in Washington (mail?) 03:34, 23 October 2015 (UTC)
"Captured" aircraft
[edit]Hi Brakeet, The Vampire, Venom, MiG-15 and Hawker Hunter in the IAF museum are not captured aircraft. They were acquired elsewhere and were only painted to resemble Arab aircraft. I removed them from the relevant category. Poliocretes (talk) 17:53, 10 June 2016 (UTC)

File:Ise Mie Okage Yokocho 14.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category. In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you! |

IRA SR series experimental amphibious tanks
[edit]Category:Amphibious tanks has the SR series experimental tanks of the Imperial Japanese Army program included. I was thinking maybe the SR I, SR II and SR III should have their own category. BTW, there is not suppose to be a dash between SR and the number, but I only learned that later after I had already uploaded two of the photos. What do you think? Cheers, Kierzek (talk) 15:15, 22 February 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you for the notice, Kierzek. At this time I dont have detailed knowledges about SR series amphibious tanks, (for example, differences in SR-II and SR-Ro. etc). dash between SR and the number, I think you may not have to worry about, thanks--Brakeet (talk) 03:16, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
- I just thought it might be good to have a general Cat for Japanese Amphibious tanks, at this time. Not individual Cats for each model. Cheers, Kierzek (talk) 16:09, 28 February 2019 (UTC)

Regarding the ongoing disbanding of all interwar and post-WW2 categories of AFVs etc.
[edit]Please note that two users recently reached a "consensus" to disband the top-level category Military vehicles of the interwar period and decided that it gives them a right to disband all the subcategories without further discussion, and moreover to disband categories like Post-World War II tanks of the Soviet Union. You may state your opinion on that at COM:ANU#CfD scope? (Military vehicles of the interwar period) and COM:Categories for discussion/2020/01/Category:Interwar tanks in museums. Tanks as subcategories of turret
[edit]Hello, I have seen that you included the tanks in the category of their turrets and guns (for instance Category:APX-R turret and Category:Hotchkiss H-35 tanks. I would rather disagree, since some versions of the tanks do not have turrets or guns. What are your reasons to categorize the way you did?--Le Petit Chat (talk) 08:16, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
Hello, I'm sorry to be late. First, My mother tongue isn't English, I'm not good. If there is impoliteness, please permit.
the reasons to categorize the way I did,
- One, The users makes the picture easy to find.
- Two, It may be a little different case, some self-propelled artillery category have main-gun category as parent category,Equally, the mainstream models of Hotchkiss H-35/38/39 tanks and Renault R35 tanks have APX-R turret, so, I did.
I think, the user's advantage convenience, is most important, so I think the way to link between the categories by a different way (for example, cat see also) is also good.
P.S. I made japanese version of APX turret article, ja:APX砲塔, based on your french article, I'll be thankful.
