Autopatrol given

[edit]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. GPSLeo (talk) 16:06, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Upload edit warring

[edit]

Upload edit warring, as you did at File:Althing (current composition).svg, is disruptive. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked. There are two different versions of the diagram - File:Althing (current composition).svg and File:Iceland Althing 2024.svg - and the decision about which one should be used on local projects is to be decided on those local projects, not by continuously re-uploading your chosen version over the other side's. (The identical message has been delivered to both parties.) The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 10:43, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@The Squirrel Conspiracy: I apologize if I did anything wrong, but at File:Althing (current composition).svg I reverted an upload that I thought was unjustified, once. How is one revert “edit warring” or “continuously re-uploading your chosen version over the other side's”? Brainiac242 (talk) 11:13, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, at File:Iceland Althing 2024.svg, I uploaded a new version I thought was better, once. After it was reverted, I simply started a discussion about it. I would like to know what I did wrong, so I can avoid doing so in the future. Brainiac242 (talk) 11:17, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
