Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

It is in Zimbabwe or Kenya etc. as well, which means it is official in government publications and probably obligatory in parliament, but not the native or primary language of those two countries respectively its people. Funnily, I've heard the Zambian ambassador to Germany on a conference once, and English definitely is not his mother tongue... Did you read the legend at all? First of all, it is not very intelligent - and fair - to just change links clandestinely so that the other commenter looks like an idiot. Secondly, they still do not make any sense respectively do not fund your blurry statements (in contrast, they support correctness). Squeezing in, those two links you gave here do not make any sense in this matter. How do you back up a blurry phrase like "English seems to be the main language, at least in South Sudan..."? And what does this tell us about your accuracy regarding Zambia?

Furthermore, almost all African countries name their official as their national language and have their anthems, constitutions etc. written in it. So you would have to put any francophone or lusophone (or anglophone) country on the respective map in dark blue, too. BUT: it is NOT the mother tongue of their people nor is it a primary language in the streets. By putting Zambia and S-Sudan in the same color as, for instance, England, you simply give misleading information. And you could have easily known that by just reading the map's legend before editing things that demand a little more expertise. There seems to be a problem regarding the description and/or licensing of this particular file. It has been found that you've added in the image's description only a Template that's not a license and although it provides useful information about the image, it's not a valid license. Could you please resolve this problem, adding the license in the image linked above? You can edit the description page and change the text. Uploading a new version of the file does not change the description of the file. This page may give you more hints on which license to choose. Thank you.
