I just wanted to say hello and suggest a project that I thought you might be interested in. Wikiproject for Barbados? CaribDigita (talk) 23:32, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
- Hello CaribDigita, I'm indeed interested in Wikiproject for Barbados. I will check it out shortly. I saw you added my ZR image to the Transport section of the Barbados article. I will have to change the section's text as there is the mixup between minibuses and Transport Board buses. Joerg the BajanZindy (talk) 00:39, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
- Excellent, I saw your fixes... I started an article some time ago that you may be more knowledgeable about than I. I created a Barbados-German relations article. at Barbados–Germany relations. If you know of anything else that could- or should be added feel free. CaribDigita (talk) 20:42, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
Tip: Categorizing images
[edit]
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
[[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.CategorizationBot (talk) 10:37, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

- Hello Túrelio,
I didn't know about the copyright violation as I uploaded this file from a Wikipedia. If I remember correctly, I uploaded this file from the indonesian Wikipedia, were it still exists (Berkas:David Thompy.JPG). There it is said to come from the english Wikipedia. A check in the english Wikipedia's deletion log shows the original uploader was SeanQ01(talk). So he's the copyright violator. I just acted in good faith and apologize. Joerg, the BajanZindy (talk) 14:02, 27 November 2010 (UTC)- No need to apologize. I just wanted to notify you and was too lazy to write an individual message ;-). In case you want to know, the image was found on http://www.foreign.gov.bb/articles.cfm?articletype=3&start=2&year=2009. --Túrelio (talk) 14:12, 27 November 2010 (UTC)
