Wikimedia said it can't determine if my photo is copyright??? I TOOK the photo!

[edit]

I'm sorry but you guys are rejecting a photo that I took with my nikon dslr and I have proof of it in my professional portfolio. I was giving my own image to the public. You don't allow a way for us to post our OWN image - you just rely on your CLEARLY flawed bots to reject my own photography? That's insane. What year is this? Fine, I won't share my world photos and videos for creative commons on your site, if that's the case. I will just go back to selling them. Nice, wiki. Now I get why everyone hates this site. AI images

[edit]

Best practice is still being worked out (see Commons:AI-generated_media#How_should_AI-generated_media_be_handled?), but please at least note somewhere on your AI uploads that they were created by AI. I've batch processed them into Category:AI-generated images for now, but can't tell offhand which software you used to generate them. Thanks. Belbury (talk) 09:41, 26 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I invite you to share your experience and opinions about this process in an interview. Interviews will be conducted by Criba Research in English, using Zoom, for a duration of about 45 minutes. We are pleased to offer a thank you gift of $80 USD for completing the interview.

To join this study, please submit this short form by June 9th. Criba will contact you by email to schedule an interview. Interviews will take place from June 12th to June 21st.

P.S. If you are interested in participating in more research for Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects, you can register for our research participant list here. BGerdemann (WMF) (talk) 03:16, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notification about possible deletion

[edit]
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
