Michael Schmidt (Musicologist)
Michael Schmidt (*1957 in Cologne) is a German Music Publicist, Editor, Author and Professor für Multimedia Mediation of Music at the University of Music and Theater Munich and at the European Graduate School.
Life
Michael Schmidt studied piano, musicology, philosophy and history in Cologne and Freiburg. In 1987 he received his doctorate from the Albert Ludwig University in Freiburg with a thesis on the piano poems of Alexander Scriabin. After a traineeship at Deutschlandfunk in Cologne and a stint at German Television ZDF in Mainz, he has been music editor at Bayerischer Rundfunk in Munich since 1990 and coordinator of the classical music portal since 2003.
Michael Schmidt's special interest is the development and research of multimedia mediation of music. This focus also informs his diverse teaching activities. He has been a lecturer for multimedia mediation of music at the Institute Lernradio of the University of Music Karlsruhe since 1995, at the European Graduate School since 2000, at the Institute for Musicology of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich since 2001, and at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich since 2002. He is a member of the Selection Committee of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and of the Artistic Board of Trustees of the Rotarian Orlandus Lassus Music Foundation as well as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Georg von Vollmar Academy.

Hallo, das ist ja schön und gut und steht hier auch nicht zur Debatte. Das Problem ist, dass da steht Fotograf: Erik Dreyer, Urheberrechte: Erik DreyerPhotographyMünchen. Wir können doch hier nicht hellsehen, ob a) die Nutzungsrechte abgetreten sind und b) AlexanderEkstase vielleicht Erik Dreyer ist oder Michael Schmidt oder noch jemand anderes. Du glaubst nicht, wie viele "geklaute" Bilder hier Woche für Woche hochgeladen werden. Daher müssen wir in einem Fall wie diesem auf der COM:VRT-Prozedur bestehen, die letztlich nur aus einer E-Mail des Fotografen besteht. Gruß, Achim55 (talk) 18:15, 4 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hallo Achim, vielen Dank für Deine Rückmeldung. Wie Du auf Erik Dreyers Rechnung für das Porträtfoto von mir unten sehen kannst, habe ich das Copyright, soll aber angeben „Foto: Erik Dreyer“. Reicht das als Bestätigung aus, oder brauchst Du noch eine extra Mail-Bestätigung von Erik Dreyer, und wenn ja an welche Mail-Adresse? Viele Grüße, Michael Schmidt
