Thanks for uploading Image:Bohodukhivskyi-Raion.png. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikimedia Commons (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page. If the content is a derivative of a copyrighted work, you need to supply the names and a licence of the original authors as well.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag, then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{self|cc-by-sa-2.5}} to release it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license or {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Commons:Geotagging

ОК. Я только не совсем понял, что нужноделать в данном проекте. Ещё вопрос: как называется шаблон для обьединения категорий? Напр. нужно обьединить Category:Krementschuk и Category:Kremenchuk.--Ahonc 15:05, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

Надо добавлять к описаниям изображений координаты места, откуда был сделан снимок с помощью {{Location}} или {{Location dec}}. Проще всего фотографировать с GPS, но можно находить примерное место съёмки с помощью спутниковых снимков с высоким разрешением (Google Earth/Maps, Yahoo Maps, Live Maps).

Результат нагляднее всего можно увидеть в Google Earth на слое GeoCommons.

Кстати, координаты из статей английской Википедии отображаются в Google Earth по умолчанию.

Для объединения категории надо использовать {{Category redirect}}. Т.е. содержимое Category:Krementschuk заменить на {{category redirect|Kremenchuk}}. По идее роботы перенесут всё содержимое.

У меня своих фотографий немного:). Я сейчас думаю загрузить флаги и гербы для украинских нас. пунктов и районов. Вот только не пойму, почему некоторые гербы именуются как Coat of arms ..., а некоторые как Coat of Arms ... (во втором случае A большое). Как правильно.--Ahonc 14:57, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Насколько помню правила, Coat of Arms используются в заголовках, а Coat of arms в тексте. По идее оба варианта правильные. Хотя можно использовать COA :-)

А можно поработать над фотографиями других участников :-) Главное знать место :-)

I note the mini edit war over the name, it is best not to get into a revert war (it takes two to have a war) if they are having problems with your edits, but try to explain on the persons talk page - or ask a neutral person to intervene in the discussion. Doing things by negotiation rather than by force will have better long term results - remember we are trying to create a media bank of free images - for that we need people to donate their work freely, which they will not if their contributions are not fully appreciated :-) --Tony Wills 23:16, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Привет! Это не ты случайно подал на удаление изображение Charkiw-oblast-COA.PNG? И почему его снесли при совершенно свободной лицензии, не в курсе? Оно было нормального цвета, нормальной приглушённой цветопередачи, а нынешнее в сотне шаблонов - ну не смотрится как-то.--Vizu 19:06, 28 December 2007 (UTC)

Ну не совсем дубликат, там были отличия не только в цвете (салатный), но рисунке. Дело в том, что за этот шаблон месяц назад голосование на проекте было. Весь народ проголосовал за удалённый вариант(((у-у (а я один - против). зачем удалять, оно совершенно свободное ведь?--Vizu 19:16, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
