Funny to the one that is acting in a childly manner, insulting others and that you claiming to be a "professional" in firearms subject just because you have 32 books about Sprigfield Guns. Rifle of this images is has amithsnian ID NUMBER "AF*272928", with date 1865 on the side plate and the Smithsonian catalog says that this rifle has a "DATE MADE ca 1866" and "ASSOCIATED DATE 1865". NPS, manager of the Springfield Armory National Historic Site and the owners of the archives of the former Armoury say that MODEL 1865 "TRAPDOOR" RIFLE were converted\manufactured in 1866 and MODEL 1866 "TRAPDOOR" RIFLE (none were serial numbered) were converted\manufactured in 1867.
