New map

[edit]

Hey! I want to invite you to think together and create a (maybe) perfect color scheme for the map? What do you think about that? I would love to work together! Eoiuaa (talk) 18:21, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, how do you think of this one: https://svgshare.com/i/g2s.svg 72.229.242.36 19:36, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I like bright arrows on a dark blue background, but I would redo the territories with Russian control. And do you have any social networks to make it easier to communicate? Maybe twitter or facebook? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eoiuaa (talk • contribs) 20:17, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know how to do that, I just know how to change the colors and besides, it's only to demonstrate how it'll look like in this color scheme. 72.229.242.36 21:34, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you want, you can look at the combinations of different colors, and I'll edit it. I just think that you can use any palette, you just need to choose a comfortable one for reading. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eoiuaa (talk • contribs) 22:05, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think the Russian red is fine as it is, as blue and red are on opposite sides of the spectrum, so it should be fine. 72.229.242.36 22:37, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe yes, but I would change the brightness or tone of the red. And what do you think about the contrast between green (dark green) and yellow? Or between orange (maybe brown (brick color)) and also green (dark green)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eoiuaa (talk • contribs) 23:07, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I also thought that you can create a contrast between the blue-violet color and the orange (brick color). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eoiuaa (talk • contribs) 23:09, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you can try it out on a color blindness test, then we can see if it works 72.229.242.36 00:07, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Could you send me a good test for color blindness? So far I do not really understand the results (they are all different)... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eoiuaa (talk • contribs) 08:48, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well, there are different kinds of colorblindness, and this test should help: https://pilestone.com/pages/color-blindness-simulator-1 72.229.242.36 14:37, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well, thank you! I made a new card, checked on this site, it is suitable for 7 out of 8 types of color blindness, except for the black and white defect. Check it out in a topic called - '"New Map - Green-Red (Orange) Version."' — Preceding unsigned comment added by Eoiuaa (talk • contribs) 16:23, 8 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
