Image request
[edit]I am looking for an image of Kürsch to use here in a table similar to the one here. I think the best depiction I have seen here of Kürsch is this one, but I would like it without anything else on it, if that is possible. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks! - Danke, aber ich möchte deutlich Kürsch, ohne andere Figur. Diese Abbildung hier hat einen Pfahl. Können Sie den Pfahl ablösen? Grüße! Wilhelm meis (talk) 12:50, 5 April 2009 (UTC)
Genau! Vielen Dank! Wilhelm meis (talk) 15:19, 5 April 2009 (UTC)

Partitions of the field and charges blazoned "proper" are not usually considered to be violations of the tincture rule... AnonMoos (talk) 02:07, 17 January 2013 (UTC)
- It's a delicate point, but if a blazon is specifying detail colors in order to make a complex multi-colored charge simulate how it appears in nature, then that's pretty much equivalent to "proper". By the way, the arms of England Gules, with three lions passant guardant in pale or armed and langued azure is not generally considered to violate the rule of tincture, even though blue claws appear against a red background! That's really not the way that heraldic categories have been named in the past. Unfortunately it seems to be redundant to Category:Hammer and pick in heraldry. Also, if a coat of arms has a crossed hammer, then it should be a subcategory of Category:Hammers in heraldry, Category:Crossed objects in heraldry etc. AnonMoos (talk) 00:24, 20 January 2013 (UTC)

Category:Platinum_(heraldry) has been listed at Commons:Categories for discussion so that the community can discuss ways in which it should be changed. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category. In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you! |
