Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

أهلًا أليكس، بخصوص سؤالك عن العزيزين علاء وباسم، فأنا سأجيبك لأنهم ببساطة هما من أعمدة ويكيبيديا العربية المُهمين، فعلاء من النشيطين جدًا في كتابة المقالات، وصاحب أفكار جمة للكثير من المقالات البوتية التي أوصلتنا إلى هذا الترتيب، وبالنسبة لباسم فهو شخص لا يكل ولا يمل عن كتابة المقالات المُختارة والجيدة ما شاء الله، فبسبب هذه الأسماء بالإضافة إلى أسماء اُخرى كثيرة في ويكيبيديا ولت ويكيبيديا إلى هذا الحال، وبالمُناسبة كيف ترى أنهم يقومون بالسيطرة على المُجتمع، فلو كانوا يسيطرون على المُجتمع لكان المُجتمع عزلهم من صلاحياتهم منذ فترة كبيرة، وأنت تعلم بالتأكيد نتيجة أي تصويت عزل سيُفتح ضدهم الآن ، وبالمناسبة أنصحك ألا تذكرهما بأي سوء أمامي مرة أخرى، فأي إهانة لهم ستكون موجهة لي أيضا، وبالنسبة لما حدث معك فأنت من أكثر المُستخدمين الممنوعين الذين تم منحهم فرص للعودة مرة أُخرى، ولكنك ضيعت فرصك كلها، فبالتأكيد وجودك أصبح غير مُرحب به ببينا، وبالنسبة لسبب التدقيق على حساب (خواليد) فيمكنك مُطالعة رد علاء على سؤال علاء فحصي له عن هذا السبب في صفحة نقاش علاء في ويكيبيديا. وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته أخي @The Cheesedealer: بالنسبة لكيفية رفع الصور، فهذا ما حدث بالترتيب:

1. راسلت الأستاذ حسام وطلبت منه أن يوافق على ترخيص صوره للمجزرة برخصة CC BY-SA 4.0 ووافق
2. راسلت فريق VRT على بريدهم: permissions-commons@wikimedia.org، وأرسلت لهم لقطة شاشة لموافقة الأستاذ حسام.
3. بدأت في رفع الصور بمجرد مراسلة الفريق، ويمكنك أن تطالع ما أضفته في النسخة الأولى من كل ملف وقت الرفع.
4. بعد ذلك رد عليّ الفريق برقم التذكرة التي فيها إثبات موافقة الأستاذ على ترخيص صوره بهذه الرخصة، وأضفت قالب يحمل رقم التذكرة في الملفات، وهو موجود حاليًا فيها.

Round 1 of Picture of the Year 2023 voting is open!

2022 Picture of the Year: Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo), Little Egret (Egretta garzetta) and Gadwall (Mareca strepera) in Nepal.

Dear Wikimedian,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the 2023 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighteenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2023) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year are all entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

For your convenience, we have sorted the images into topical categories. Two rounds of voting will be held: In the first round, you may vote for as many images as you like. The top 30 overall and top 5% of most popular images in each category will continue to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just three images to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 1 will end on 14 October 2024, 23:59:59 UTC.
