I am a recently turned Wikipedia Editor, encouraged into this arena by User:Johnbod and User:WereSpielChequers who introduced myself and colleagues at Waddesdon Manor to the protocols of editing.
I work at a National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty property in the UK, Waddesdon Manor - a property in Buckinghamshire under the umbrella of the National Trust.
My interests revolve around Heritage, History and Culture, specifically concentrating upon eighteenth century historic interiors. I am also driven by Wikipedia's encouragement of closing the gender gap, and thus have attended Birkbeck's wikithon on Ladies of Quality, in which I created the page for Frances, Baroness Byron as my first editing task. This event was "part of the Being Human festival, led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, in partnership with the Arts & Humanities Research Council and the British Academy".
