My name is Travis (but you can call me Trav). I am constantly reading on Wikipedia, and have been using it since sometime in early 2007. I especially like to read about chemistry, Blu-ray Disc, computer topics, and mathematics. Recently I have been updating the Tie_(engineering) and Hurricane tie pages.

I'm homeschooled using an advanced computer program.

I started using Wikipedia when my mom told me to do some research on bakelite on the internet. So I typed bakelite in and in the top few links was a Wikipedia link. I clicked it read about bakelite (aka polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydrid). I then started to search other things. And I have been using Wikipedia since.

I haven't used Wikimedia Commons that much yet though.
