About: The temple is located in the middle of Western Ghat Mountains and the view from the temple towards the Kanuvai and Periyathadagam location provide a picturesque view. Early morning or early evening are the best time to visit due to Temple's location up on the mountain. Free afternoon meal is provided (Annadhaanam) by the temple trust itself.
The path towards the temple consists of steps that are steep. There are no enough shops for food or water, so taking your own food and water is advisable.
