User:Niquihcuiloa
I am a director and a filmmaker, a student of anthropology and history. My interests include film, Native America, the Imperial United States, biology, and anthropology. I take a boatload of photos and videos in my line of work. I love contributing what I can to the general population. I typically have a cellphone at my side (Nexus 7, currently, but previously it has been a Nexus 5X), but routinely shoot on Canon, Blackmagic, and Sony cameras. I am owamux on Flickr, neoteotihuacan in other online realms, and niquihcuiloa (Nahuatl for 'I paint or write') here in wiki land.
Biography
[edit]I was born in Baltimore, Maryland but have lived in Alabama for decades. I went to school for biology and anthropology, with the aim of going into exobiology. After undergraduate graduation with a degree in anthropology, I switched professions to filmmaking and began working toward a film director position. I currently work as a director, a camera operator, and an editor. I've had a camera in my hand since I was 17 years old.
My line of work has allowed me to travel. I have spent time in Antarctica, South America, and Europe, and have traveled extensively among the nations, states, and territories of the Empire of the United States of America, as well as the other North American countries, Mexico and Canada. All along the way, I've taken photos, either for the work or myself. It gives me some pleasure to put these photos up for general use in the Creative Commons and on Wikipedia / Wikimedia. I hope you find some of them useful, and I hope they broaden your horizons.
