Occupation Photographer / Student

Another photography student / somewhat professional? You have managed to find my Wikipedia page where I update pages, upload some of my photos etc.

What do I take? Photos of the following which includes architectural significance, aviation, heritage, models and client work, public transport, construction, nature and wildlife and anything that looks interesting. If you are interested in me doing any photography for your event, please contact me via my email supplied below.

Camera Gear? My first camera was a point and shoot iPhone 4, that was the first signs that I shown an interest in photography. It wasn't until the iPhone 6 when I started taking photos seriously (literally thousands) when I took photos of buildings and public transport in Melbourne. Some of my work was showcased and eventually, I borrowed an EOS 700D (10-18mm wide, 18-55mm kit, 55-250mm telephoto) which was my first DSLR. Now my setup is a Canon 70D (18-200mm Tamron A14) which I have been using for the long term with a plan to move to full frame at some point.

What have I achieved? This includes the eleven photos that were successfully submitted into Grimshaw Architects: Southern Cross Snap 2017 (a photography exhibition).

Why do you travel so much? I love to take photos which include any rail-tours operated by Steamrail Victoria*, DERMPAV* or 707 Operations*, travelling to towns in Victoria to see the architectural significance or just for fun really. I hope by 2020, my goal is to travel to all of the major towns in Victoria (Bendigo, Ballarat, Bairnsdale, Geelong, Maryborough, Warrnambool) and take photos in New South Wales which could lead potentially to travelling the world.

  • tours outside Myki zones are completely off the list. :(

Have you worked in either the rail or transportation industry? nope. I hope to change that in the later months with my ambitions to be anywhere in the transport industry.

What work experience have you done in the industry? none really. sorry.

Who have I taken photos for? I'm currently a freelancer, I take photography as a hobby instead of a job.

Why is there so much text in a profile description? Well, I love to give context. I'll be honest here, if I actually put more time into this small description... it will be longer than this. :)
