Questions:
- Q. A map you created is out of date. Will you update it for me?
- A. Yes. Put a note on my talk page; it will be helpful if you include the reason why it's out of date.
- Q. Would you create a map of the branches of an United States bank for me?
- A. Sure! As long as it is registered at the FDIC. Place a note on my talk page.
- Q. Would you create a map of the branches of a non-American store or bank for me?
- A. Maybe. Depends on how easy it is to get a list of latitude/longitudes for each branch and svg map for this country.
- Q. Would you create a map of the stores belonging to a company for me?
- A. If you can provide me with a list of zip codes or latitude/longitudes, yes. If not, maybe: depending on how easy it is get a list of store locations.
- Q. Can I create my own map?
- A. Head over to the Branchmapper Tool interface. Fair warning: you will need to be technically proficient. Let me know if you find any bugs or want any features.
- Q. What are all the maps you've created?
- A. The branch vs. location maps can be found here: Category:Maps by Magog the Ogre.
- Q. May I use your maps on my site/in my publication?
- A. Yes! You don't even need my permission. You'll notice that the terms of the license for all my maps is either {{Cc-by-3.0}} or {{Cc-by-sa-3.0}}. However, you are legally required to mention me as the author[1] as well as the people who created the original maps (my maps are all compilations). Every map that I've created is a compilation of other maps which were originally created by NordNordWest, Alexrk2, and, if the map has Florida in it, then Eric Gaba (Sting - fr:Sting).
Notes
[edit]- ↑ on a minority of the maps, the contributions I've made may not reach the threshold of originality in your country; nevertheless, you are still required to attribute the map's original authors.
