Samples, images, etc
[edit]Australia
[edit]- File:Hearse-r.jpg, an image generously contributed by the Queensland Museum. Note that this is used on the Azerbaijani, Greek, French, Irish and Polish project as an illustration for "hearse", as well as on the English Wikipedia.
- SLQ Flickr Stream - an excellent source of uploadable images!
Outside Australia
[edit]- File:Bundesarchiv Bild 102-13665, Pressefotografen mit Kameras.jpg, an image uploaded as part of the Bundesarchiv project. Note the vanity licencing tag, link back to a source page, and a collection ID number (Bild 102-13665) in the description underneath the photo. A special tag like this could be developed either for material uploaded by a GLAM institution, or even more specifically for images that are part of a particular collection (as they are all likely to have the same copyright status; will save quite a bit of typing!)
- Template:BArch-License/en, direct link to the special Bundesarchiv licencing tag.
- Commons:Deutsche Fotothek, similar project to the Bundesarchiv donation, if a partnership can be agreed with a GLAM organisation and WM-AU, then we could create a page like this to increase the amount of media exposure the cooperation would get.
