Hello (and welcome)

You have entered my lair. Well, have a little look around. My contributions (probably bound to hear and what attracted you here in the first place) on wikipedia: have been getting the Kirkcaldy article from B to GA status; Dysart, Fife from stub to C status; the Cupar article to C status; Raging Bull from start to B status; supplying some pictures across various articles (including Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline) and being the founder of the West Wemyss and History of Kirkcaldy articles as well as the fife task force within the Scotland portal. I have also uploaded a lot of pictures, some of which have been added to the Kirkcaldy, Cupar, Dysart and Dunfermline articles.

Currently, my long-term goal would be to push Kirkcaldy for FA status (making this Fife's first FA article and Scotland's third)

to do

[edit]

Kirkcaldy - built environment (more info on layout + may add picture of A92 - Glenrothes-Kirkcaldy Road); economy (info on employment history in the town and mention new U-shape shopping area overlooking Volunteers Green - essential + may add picture of Forbo Nairn's factory); education (recent statistics about primary and secondary in town; mention about former pupils of Kirkcaldy High School and will also add more information on Balwearie, Viewforth and colleges and nearby universities with the intention to spilt into two sub-sections - "schools" and "colleges and universities"); transport (may fold into a new section - "infrastructure" with new sub-section "health" + history of transport in the town) and famous people (another tidy-up, if possible more names will be added and a new link to the famous people of Kirkcaldy category) sport and recreation (add references to the 3-star award given to Beveridge Park and mention the new leisure centre on Tolbooth Street, being re-built)going to use articles such as Inverness, Irvine, Perth, Dundee, Carnoustie, Coatbridge, Glenrothes, Edinburgh, Falkirk and Glasgow as influence. i think it would be a good opportunity to get another Scottish place represented eventually in the FA category and also overcome Glenrothes as best Fife article hopefully in the next couple of months
