It happens

• that different uploaders (mainly power uploaders)
• that the same uploader

upload the same / similar image twice / multifold from the same or similar source. It cannot happen that exactly the same image is uploaded again, as the software prohibits identical files (at least you have to switch off warnings). Cases observed include

• different scans of the same source (depending on the software used and the parameter setting, this will always yield different images)
• different external processing of the same image
