I work as freelance content creator at the University of Minnesota. Here's a fun shot from from my former neuroscience lab. (This is not an actual experiment, of course...we were just having some fun!)

I earned a B.A. in Creative Writing in 2010, then moved to California to work at Bay Area start-ups for three years as a Content Manager. I decided that a Marketing career wasn't for me, so I returned to University for a second B.S. in Neuroscience (2015). In September 2016, I began a Ph.D. program in Computer Science. I will focus my PhD research in Human-Computer Interaction and Machine Learning with the eventual aim of building new tech to improve scientific literacy and collaboration on a massive scale.
