Public toilets at Shore Road, on the seafront at Bonchurch, Isle of Wight in March 2011. From 1 April 2011, the Isle of Wight Council permanently closed these toilets to save money as part of funding cuts by central government. In addition to the closure of toilets in Bonchurch Village Road, this meant there were no public toilets at all in Bonchurch.

Nearby trees had been undermining support for the road, meaning stabalisation work had to be carried out to prevent the bridge collapsing in the future. It is seen towards the end of the works, after the temporary traffic lights had been taken down and all works moved onto the pavements.

The new visitor information office at Ryde, Isle of Wight bus station being prepared ready for opening in April 2011, when Southern Vectis are due to take over all tourist information services after budget cuts by the Isle of Wight Council meant all the old tourist information centres were closed. Interestingly, it is seen being prepared on 22 February, a day before the full council met to actually decide whether the tourist information centres would even close.

Princes Green, Cowes, Isle of Wight, seen on Firework Night at the end of Cowes Week in 2009. Tents can be seen set up along the beach and many were watching from the green as well. The Red Arrows were just about to perform a display before the fireworks.

Repair works being carried out to Ryde Pier, Ryde, Isle of Wight in January 2011. In August 2010 the pier failed a routine health and safety inspection and was immidiately closed off to all vehicle traffic. Work repairing the pier started in October 2010 and is expected to be complete by March 2011. As can be seen, the wood pier is being sprayed with water, which was also covering anyone else who was walking past on the temporary pedestrian walkway.
