Hi, I'm Larry Koroloff.

I'm contributing various materials that I've collected through my research in the history, language, traditions, and folklore of the Kastoria region in the Aegean Macedonia, and especially of the village of Drenòveni (Kranionas), from which comes my father. Many of these have been previously published in my book “Drenòveni: The Life and Demise of a Macedonian Village” and will be marked with the following template:

The photographs published in the book come from the personal family photo archive of the author, Larry Koroloff / User:Drenowe. Most of the photos have been taken by members of his family or have otherwise had their rights arranged for publication in the book and the subsequent republication under a free license. Some of the photos are with unknown author, but are produced before 1903 and are covered by {{PD-old-assumed}}. See the author information and the copyright template for details about the specific image.
