Me and my Images
[edit]Read more about me (in German) on my user page in the German Wikipedia, and see my favorite images.

My most widely used image.
Though the quality can´t be called "high" it seems to be quite attractive, because it shows an object in the municipality of Schmalstede and it seems to be the only image from this municipality in commons. In November 2024 it was used overall 23 times in the main namespace of 18 different Wikimedia projects. -
My first Quality image.
This one shows the pipe organ in St. Nikolai in Hamburg-Billwerder, a very beautiful situated church in one of the more rural parts of Hamburg. Thanks to Poco a poco for his help with this in 2013! It was the beginning of a steady improvement of my images. -
One of my Valued Images.
This one illustrates my understanding of VI quite well. The image shows an object, that has never been pictured before in a Wikimedia project and is used in the corresponding WP article. -
My first award winning image.
Rank 36 among the german top 100 during WLM 2014. The image was made totally unplanned as a holiday shot during a short trip to the north-frisian island Langeneß. Only after being at home I noticed that this could be used for WLM. -
My Quality image No. 300, and a quite special one. It was Rank 74 among the german top 100 during WLM 2015, but it needed two reviews, to be finally promoted as a QI in 2017. It shows a classic modern office building in the rapidly changing commercial area City Nord in Hamburg.

This is upload No. 5000, one of my contributions to Wiki Loves Monuments 2018 in Germany and later on promoted as QI. It shows a building in the garden city Hohnerkamp, a residential area in Hamburg-Bramfeld build from 1953 to 1954.
-
My first Featured Picture, one of my contributions to Wiki Loves Monuments 2020 in Germany. It shows the open gate of the central monument of the memorial grave area to victims of the bombing of Hamburg in 1940-1945 located on the cemetery Ohlsdorf.
(The gallery was a good idea by El Grafo. Thanks!)
