Daniel Ballmer is a conservationist living in Switzerland. He's got a Masters degree in environmental science from the University of Zürich and invented the free web tool Floretia which suggests the right wildflowers for every Swiss garden or flower pot. As Floretia has profited from open-source photos, Daniel has committed to give back by uploading his own nature photos. Bravely battling the pitfalls of the unwieldy upload tool, he is trying to open as much of his photo archive as possible to the public.
