Not one, but two entrances on the southeast corner.

On the other side of that is a kiosk with a public map of the plaza itself.

-
Just in case that chain linked fence was blocking your view of the BHS's restoration proposal.

The barn, carriage house, and part of the house itself.
-
More of a view of the house.
-
This looks like an outhouse, but I'm not so sure.
-
And this looks like a chicken coup. Perhaps the Society for the Preservation of Long Island Antiquities knows better.

-
A reconstruction project of "Bryan's Bridge," a small two-lane bridge carrying Suffolk CR 65 over the Brown's River. What they should be working on...

The Eastchester-Dyre Avenue station on the IRT Dyre Avenue Line. This is Track #2...
-
..and this is Track #1. I got the other track first.
-
I tried other shots, but they turned out like crap, so I had to settle for this one of the warning signs.
-
Grand Central Terminal was celebrating it's centennial that year, and this is the only shot of it I was able to get.

This shot isn't that much better.
-
Unfortunatley, the same can be said for the historic marker.
-
This one is a little better... but that's not saying much.
-
This one isn't. but at least it's in front of Montauk Highway.

A second version of the entrance sign to the park.
-
The "toll booth" at the park, which was closed for the fall and winter.
-
From Parking Field #1, you can see Southern State Parkway.
-
Off in the distance (too distant, actually) is a sign to Parking Field #2, and the two exits from the park.
-
The base of the flagpole at Exit 15A. I actually had to walk through the woods from Parking Field #1 behind this flagpole to get this shot.
-
Another shot of the "toll booth." This one was taken on foot too. Luckily no State Troopers or "State Rangers" saw me.
-
The athletic field at the east end of the park. I can't remember if this was a soccer game or a rugby game.
-
Another view of the "toll booth" from inside the park.
-
Wider shot with the ramp from the parkway.
-
Outside of the park is the Pagan-Fletcher House...

-
The Cold Spring Harbor Fire Museum, and I got a front end shot this time. I would've taken a tour if I didn't have another family affair.
-
After numerous attempts, here's a color shot of the David Conklin House in Huntington, New York.
More to Come... maybe.

Junius Street station on the IRT New Lots Line ...
-
.. from the westbound platform...
-
.. looking mostly at the eastbound platform (although in this case a subway signal is included)...
-
.. it looks like an extra bridge is underneath here, but the whole station is itself a bridge.
-
Traditional mosaics for the Kingston Avenue station on the IRT Eastern Parkway Line
-
Contemporary MTA Helvetica sign pillar
-
Another mosaic more reminiscent of the Independent Subway System
-
Emergency exit signs at the station (I'm not sure I should've taken this picture)
-
There was a discussion about these cubbyholes on WP:NYPT
-
A much larger Helvetica sign near one of the staircases.

Yet another Helvetica sign on a pillar, but this time a square pillar.

And just when I thought I could capture everything from the Flushing Line platforms...
-
..then I stumble upon this World War One memorial in the main lobby of the subway station.
-
Sign for Simpson Street Subway Station in the South Bronx.
-
Looking north towards the northbound station house, elevator, and either Wakefield or Eastchester.
-
The southbound station house as seen from the northbound platform
-
This looks like a decorated garbage pale, but I don't think it is.
-
The Westchester-Simpson Street Substation...
-
.. also known as IRT Substation #18
-
This was actually my reason for stopping at this station in the first place.
-
Contemporary street-name sign for Detective Luis Suarez Way...
-
.. but a pre-1971 Keep Right Sign still exists here.
-
Back at 149th Street-Grand Concourse Subway Complex, where an old mosaic on the White Plains Road Line points to the Jerome Avenue Line
-
An "MPS Mosaic," although some editors insist this is graffiti.
-
The mosaics to the never-built 149th Street New York Central Railroad station.
-
Another mosaic for the Down Town Trains, Lexington Avenue, and the Streets.
-
A transfer tunnel from the Jerome Avenue Line to the White Plains Road Line
-
Small mosaic for 149th Street on the Jerome Avenue platforms
-
A "Path Through History" sign inside the 167th Street station on the IRT Jerome Avenue Line. I held this back over copyright paranoia.
-
One block east of the station, I was able to get an interesting shot.
-
Then I went to the other side and snapped a shot of the low clearance chains...
-
.. and a staircase to the station from the SW corner.
-
Back to 149th Street-Grand Concourse Subway Complex, I got a shot of another "Down Town Trains" arrow mosaics...
-
.. and a nearby "Up Town Trains" arrow mosaic...
-
.. and finally the grand prize of the trip, a shot of the NRHP listed Mott Avenue Control House... IN COLOR!
-
And then I decided to take a shot of the NRHP-listed Bronx Central Annex Post Office.
-
Going back to Manhattan, I found I had to head to 135th Street Station on the IRT Lenox Avenue Line.
-
I was really looking for a transfer, not these mosaics, but it was still worth taking.
-
Outside of the station, I spotted the Harlem YMCA, and took a shot of it just for the hell of it.
-
Back at 135th Street station, there were still other reasons to get pics; An elevator...
-
... a staircase...
-
.. and both at the same time.
-
And after my failed attempt at a pic in 2011, I finally got an image of the street entrance to Harlem – 148th Street - Lenox Terminal!
-
A random platform shot of Pelham Parkway station.
-
I could've stayed there for more pics, but I was determined to return to Eastchester - Dyre Avenue. Note the old IRT lamppost in the platform.
-
And in daylight this time... And here's part of the old New York, Westchester and Boston Railway right-of-way.
-
Same ROW looking south towards West Farms, and at one time Mott Haven.
-
Until 1937, some EMU's came from either White Plains or Port Chester on that track.
-
Street-level entrance...
-
.. from the northeast corner of Dyre Avenue and Light Street.
-
The northbound Bx16 bus stop on Webster Avenue north of 233rd Street...
-
.. and the entrance to the southbound Bronx River Parkway, which is also the entrance to Woodlawn Metro-North station.
-
The southbound exit from the Bronx River Parkway also contains the exit from Woodlawn Station.
-
Unfortunatley you can't make a U-turn...
-
.. or go to the station from the southbound ramp... or back onto the parkway.
-
There's even a pocket park along the bike path between the station and the ramps to the parkway.
-
The old public bathrooms across the street from Harlem - 125th Street Metro-North Station.
-
The entrance to the station from 125th Street itself.
-
Most MNRR signs are mounted on or near the platforms. This one is under the bridge over the sidewalk.
-
An information kiosk inside the station with a clock on top.
-
That old NYC public bathroom again, this time from North Park Avenue.
-
Since there were no other pictures of Junior's at GCT, I thought I'd snap an extra one.
-
Just to the west of it is a passageway, which I thought was to the Oyster Bar, but is probably one for the restaurant employees.

The headquarters of Bulova Watches as seen from Grand Central Parkway.

I've seen the Jackson Hole Air Line Diner in other pics...
-
.. so I thought I'd take advantage of the traffic jam along GCP...
-
.. and try to snap some pics myself.
