I am interested in taking photographs in the greater Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area, as well as elsewhere in the mid-Atlantic region when I get the chance. My main interest is in current and historical sites pertaining to ethnic, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic groups. I tend to photograph places related to immigrant communities, religious communities, working-class history, gay/lesbian culture, and public transportation. I have a great love for both urban history and Appalachian culture and I'm passionate about Jewish history as well. I try to take photographs of old buildings and forgotten/neglected histories. If anyone wants a picture taken in the area, I'll see if I can arrange for it.
