My name is Alice Kim. I am a graduate student, editing/teaching assistant, library graduate research assistant, and writer in Honolulu, Hawaii. On Wikipedia, I'm finding myself looking at articles relating to Hawaiian history and uploading images from historical Hawaii newspapers.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in English and have just been accepted to the PhD program in Communication and Information Sciences. I have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a management major with a marketing management emphasis and an English minor, and a Master of Library and Information Science degree.
My professional experiences are in the areas of publishing, journalism, public relations, marketing, health communication, human resources, English composition instruction, libraries, and historical research, specifically in Hawaii journalism history.
As diverse as my academic and professional experiences are, they interrelate in the areas of language, communication, and information.
