Dominican Republic - the

I inserted this template in the Category:Women of the Dominican Republic, but for some reason it gets the category "People of [the] Dominican Republic" wrong in that it doesn't add the word "the" to the "People of" category. It's "People of Dominican Republic" instead. This only happens with the "People of" category. The addition of the category "Female humans of the Dominican Republic" is rendered correctly by the template including the word "the". I also just created the Category:Female humans of the Dominican Republic and here the template also uses the correct category name "People of the Dominican Republic". I also just added the "Men by country" template to Category:Men of the Dominican Republic where the template doesn't add a "People of" category at all and otherwise renders everything correctly. The "people of" category probably doesn't belong on "women of" because the latter goes into "female humans of" which then is a sub category of "people of". - Nakonana (talk) 11:45, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
