[edit]

How to withdraw a picture that has release authorisation, many thanks! 14.136.245.194 10:00, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well, licenses are irrevocable, but we do usually let people withdraw a license within a week or so. --Donald Trung 『徵國單』 (No Fake News 💬) (WikiProject Numismatics 💴) (Articles 📚) 10:03, 22 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

new upload doubts

[edit]

Hello! I've uploaded this file: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Stephen's_Sausage_Roll_coin.jpg and used it on this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen%27s_Sausage_Roll

The photo is mine, the coin design isn't. I have previously exchanged by email with the developer, telling him that I wanted to put a photo of the coin on wikipedia and if he had some kind of info about it to share. I didn't receive an explicit confirmation about the license. I am now wondering if I actually have to. It would be nice for me also to learn how this works. I had initially put it under CC0 but now I realise it should be something like CC BY-SA 4.0, so I corrected it. Should I write again to the dev to confirm this explicitelly? And you would add the template to the file?

Any help would be greatelly appreciated! Cinemaandpolitics (talk) 22:04, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
